This afternoon after school I was at the Student Life Activity open house at the mass hall! It's to promote the Interest Groups(IG) in my school to the Year 1 students. I was there to promote my IG. It's a 3 days event! Gosh I'm so tired now! But it's fun afterall. Here are some photos of my best gal pals captured while at the mass hall.

Julie did this for me.. Thanks Babe!

Matchbox from Raffles Hotel

I find this matchbox very cool. It's unique among others. I took the matchbox from Raffles Hotel some time ago.. I actually misplaced it and found it just now in the guest's room. So I capture a pic of it...

Quote:
The quotes on the matchbox has a story behind it. In August 1902, the last tiger to be killed in Singapore was pursued at Raffles Hotel and was finally shot while cowering under the Bar & Billiard Room, then an elevated building. Thus, this myth has made Raffles Hotel a popular hotspot among tourists.

Wolverine and Robin

For the Jeddai Council YM action figurine entry. Taken in class during lunchtime using a Nikon D70. Happened that each team in my class have to borrow a DLSR. Today's lesson in class is about good photos. But these photos of the figurines were not part of the lesson though. It's taken specially for the YM Jeddai. Special thanks to my teammates - Sharon, Rai and David. And also to Julie who provided me with these 2 toys..

Singapore Dreaming

This is a poster of the movie 'Singapore Dreaming' which I did in class earlier today. My team have to design 5 posters to promote this local movie. This is my design and the ideas came out from my mate Rachel. The cloud background is from my own photo collection and it's being used because it signifies the ambiance in a dream.

Rachel..

Stunning job ... great idea to represent the features by potraying partly of their faces ... 2 thumbs up! Thu 4-May-2006 12:12

kenterong referred to me this particular entry. I agree, this shot is really good. Really. There's a tinge of softness there that made the whole ambiance very soothing and inviting. Beautiful dining set btw . Sun 7-May-2006 08:13

Whirlpool

The Jacuzzi Pool
I was at Aloha Loyang chalet just now, just a few minutes drive from my house. It was some relative's chalet and I went there to just hang out, catch up with old timers, eat and snap. There are loads of beautiful sceneries to capture over there as the chalet is located near the beach. But I didn't managed to get a good snap of scenery as it was already 8pm when I reached there. There are some Jacuzzi pools and I find that the whirls from the pools were somehow stimulating to capture. So yeah, I did snapped few shots on water again(with the exception that these were from a Jacuzzi pool) with my new camera.. I ran outta ideas. It's a pity I was there only when the sun's down.

Water Droplets

These are some shots of water droplets taken on the shower pipe which I learnt from Mr Odows. I've never tried it because I don't know the secret behind it. So he gave me tips and corrected the flaws on my shots throughout half the day. These pictures turns out alright.. Gotta improve myself on this kinda shot though. Thanks Mr Odows for your help...
