Natural lighting

This is another photo with minimal editings. I only push up the contrast and desaturate it a little, that's all. This is not a CLS picture. Lighting is natural. My room is very dark even in the day with the curtains winded up of course. Took this pic beside my room window(with the help of a tripod and self-timer) so I draw open the curtains a bit to let the light enter. I love the fact that the background turned out dark illuminating only the subject.

Hard life

Went to Bugis area today with bestie NK. Hard life huh for the people here.. Sometimes I think we have to be thankful that our loved ones do not have to live their lives as such..

Just trying out some macro. Deliberately underexposed it by 1-stop. Sharpened and cropped the image a little, that's all.. I think this is the first time I posted a photo with minimal editings. I like it this way. What do you think?

I love black and white portrait. This girl is famous for her priceless look and this trademark pose. She hates her eyes so I gave her eyes a little boost there in photoshop..

1. Started to be serious in photography in 2004 at the age of 17.
2. I love the colour BLACK! 90% of my wardrobe collections are black. BUT I hate black shoes..

Sultan Mosque

Was there with NK. Weather was hot as usual. But as we started to wrap things up, the clouds seemed to have soured on us. I think this is the best I can get of the mosque. The rest of the pics aren't good. Shame!

Kitty

I don't care what you think or feel but this kitty is such a darling to me...  I was at Arab Street with NK this afternoon. On our way to shoot at the back alley, we found this kitten and the mother cat near some wooden crates. The mother cat was rather protective of the kitten when I reached out my hand to them. Few hours later, NK and I walked pass the same alley again. This time round, mother cat wasn't there so I managed to give a little stroke to this kitten!!  It's so cute!! I really wish I have a cat at home! But well, my family members are a little allergic to cats.

Kranji War Memorial

It was again a scorching hot day for outdoor photography. I went to the Kranji War Memorial with my bestie NK this afternoon. So for part 1 of this theme. I made my pictures looked rather dreamy here.
The exact location for this is actually near the entrance of the memorial.
